Happy Birthday, Isaiah!

Today Isaiah turned 3.  I have big plans for posting tomorrow about how we celebrated today, but I couldn't let the actual day pass without mentioning that my Little Man has completed another year.

Tonight at his party with 2 of his friends and their parents and his beloved Aunt Luda, Thomas talked about Isaiah and what he means to us.  On his birthday we celebrate the gift that God gave us 3 years ago.  God has used Isaiah in our lives in many ways already.  If we had followed the majority when we learned about his spina bifida and chosen not to have him, as sadly most people seem to be doing these days, we wouldn't be where we are today.  Our lives would look completely different.  We would not have the joy that fills our days.  I really can't imagine what life would be like without him.

As I said already God has used Isaiah in our lives:  teaching us lessons, opening opportunities for relationships, learning and learning and learning.  I can't wait to see what God has planned for him in the next years and, Lord willing, the many years to come!
We love you, Isaiah!  Happy 3rd Birthday!
