Things I've Learned And/Or Remembered The Last Few Days

In no particular order...

~Suddenly, leaving the house at 9:15am seems ridiculously early.

~There's really nothing you can do about a pimple in the middle of your forehead that's slightly smaller than the size of your nose.

~Sometimes it's hard for me to watch people help Isaiah.

~I don't like to ask for help.  Except from my mama.  I can just boss her around. :)
(I don't really mean "boss her around", but I can tell her what to do, and she does it, and I don't feel guilty about it, that's what I mean.  And if she doesn't want to do something, then she doesn't do it; which is why I don't feel guilty, I think.)
I am getting better at accepting help and not worrying (as much) what people will think of me for needing help.

~The difference between 3 hours of sleep and 4 hours of sleep is quite remarkable, especially when you get the 4 hours all at one time.

~I love long walks in the park.

~I often forget that Nadia might be crying because her diaper is wet.  Sometimes I feel like a first-time parent all over again, and in many ways, I am.

~I like reading.

~You loose a lot of hair after having a baby.  My hair is everywhere!

~There are advantages to being in a group of non-English speaking people.  For example, let's just say that you perhaps let your eyes close during Sunday morning service, and your sweet four-year-old son sees that your eyes are closed and loudly says, "Mom!  Night night!"
(not that this happened to me, of course, I'm just giving you an example of something that could happen)

Thanks for the humor. I love to laugh. Oh by the way, would love it if you'd learn to "boss" your mother-in-law around :) love mom

Amen to the comment about loosing hair. Mine is all over. It is coming out in clumps.
